What is laser therapy?
November 23, 2015
Pet laser therapy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that uses focused light to help pets heal and feel more comfortable. A special handheld device is moved over the affected area, and the light energy stimulates cells, increases blood flow, and encourages tissue repair while your pet simply relaxes on the exam table. This type of therapy is often used for arthritis, post-surgical recovery, wounds, and other painful or inflammatory conditions, helping reduce pain, decrease swelling, and improve mobility without the need for additional drugs. Many pets tolerate sessions very well and may even seem calmer or more energetic afterward as their discomfort eases and movement becomes easier.
